NEW FULL LENGTH ALBUM RECORDED!

Hello friends,

We're all taking a week to recover after our stint of all-night recording sessions at "The Hive" Studios in Burnaby, BC. (Thanks for Jesse Karr for his amazing engineering job on the album...everyone should go and record there!!)

Anyway, we manage to record 11 tunes and we'll be posting one or two of them as a teaser/taste-test on the usual internet places. Look for our album "Silver Medal Daughter" to be printed and released soon. We'll also be playing here, there and places in between in the new year to promote this record....long live pirate-grunge!!

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel our show June 25, 2007 at Tonic with Freebase. We are working on getting another show booked soon to replace this one.
Also, due to a festival which is monopolizing downtown Lethbridge the weekend of July 7th & 8th, we have opted to postpone our Lethbridge show until sometime in August.

Our dear friend, Dread Pirate Nermil, has unfortunately passed on. He was a good fish and will be remembered as such. He is survived by 4 cloud fish and a algae eater. His vessel will now be captained by the jolly, Roger. Fair winds. 

Hey friends,
Like the title says, this is a short note to let y'all know what goes on in a typical week for us. First off, we're finally getting some pro pics done this Sunday to complete our promotional package. We'll be sending that package off to well...everyone! As we've had plenty of requests for it. Also, a huge congratulations to R and his new "friendship" with Los Cabos drumsticks. Nice to see some mutual support between Canadian artists and Canadian companies. Andrew meanwhile, has been blowing us away in rehersals with his guitar work! Which will allow someone else in the band (we won't mention who) to put down the guitar and embrace the inner rock diva fully for our live shows. Check our Shows page for updates as gigs are coming at us fast. Well I think that just about covers it....oh ya, I came up with a cool riff the other day, which is always nice. Just a quick update for y'all. First off, thank you so very much to everyone who came out to our show at the Buffalo Club last nite (sept.15th). You guys are awesome and the show was a success as we ended up selling quite a few copies of our EP after playing. And a special "hell yeah!!" goes out to Andrew from the rest of us for playing his first show with us after only a few jam sessions. We've been getting plenty of gig offers so keep checking the site as we'll be posting them soon.
